SBIR/STTR ASSISTANCE

Our scientific staff has extensive experience in overseeing joint academic and corporate funding opportunities. We can significantly improve your chances of securing grant  funding for several reasons:

PCRC scientists have managed numerous NIH/NSF sponsored phase I/II SBIR/STTR grants (https://sbir.nih.gov) as well as other joint-corporate-university federal and private research service contracts.

Many PCRC scientists currently serve or have served on NIH/NSF review panels and can provide expert advice on grant writing and the peer review process.

PCRC laboratories are commonly subcontracted by private corporations to strengthen critical components of their proposed research application, generate key preliminary data, and secure important collaborations with university experts in specialized areas.

PCRC-corporate ventures are critical for early stage companies with limited funding that need to move their research forward in such a highly competitive landscape.

New companies without wet lab space (i.e. virtual companies) can especially benefit from PCRC-driven research activities without the need to secure expensive research facilities, equipment, and staff.

PCRC staff will assist with development and organization of the subcontract, establish necessary timelines, milestones, and budgets.

Consulting services are also available to include SBIR/STTR grant strategy design, study section alignment/selection, handling the peer review process, administrative obligations, and proposal submission policies.
